Mixed or Happy Feeling?

Wednesday, June 27th, 2012

I have been wanting to write this blog for a while already but not able to do so. Why? Tiredness is the one and only reason. After my trip to visit the doctor, my hubby and I came out with 2 different feelings. For him, it is mixed feelings. For me, I am just happy. I knew he is worried for me and my health because now it is double the stacks and 6 times the risks and complications.

However, this time I am calm and at peace or at least not panicking yet. I know God is with me. He will be in this walk with me. Likewise, it is also a test on my faith to Him. I am glad of the result and pray for positive rewards at the end…

Amazing Connection…

Monday, June 18th, 2012

It is how strange we humans connected nowasdays. I was chatting to a stranger whom I just got her hanphone number minutes ago last friday. Guess how long I chatted with her? About 4 hours over WhatsApp. Impressive? It was made possible after my gynae passed my book to one of his patients. The lady sms me and we connected, later she passed my contact to another of her friend. That was how it rolled. The results? I knew 4 new friends now. It is nice as it was one of my aim for this book to gather more people like me to give each other support. To encourage one another as only people in the process will know that it is not an easy one. Also given the fact not a lot of our friends go through or understand it, so your friends can’t support you the way these people can. I am truly blessed…

Life Conference 2012

Tuesday, June 12th, 2012

It was my first time attending this conference.  I have attended quite a number of business and sales workshops, I must say this is quite interesting where we have to choose our afternoon workshop in the morning. Therefore, this will prompt a lot of people to come early to get the workshop that they want. Sounds familiar? Anyway, I manage to get the workshop that I wanted without much effort. I chose 2 workshops among the fews.

First is the “I do! I do! I do!” workshop by Pastor Margaret Tay and Pastor Johnathan Lee. Despite it is conducted by Pastors, the content is well covered with various topics including sex. It also have a few questionnaires for us to answer as husband and wife to better understand our partner. So we won’t assume and presume which we tend to do after being couples for a while..

The next workshop I attended is “Sharpening People’s Skills, EQ” by Pastor Larry Lee. He is a very humorous guy so the whole workshop is fun and never dull. Likewise, he touched some pointers on how to look out for certain body languages and characteristics.

Overall, I enjoyed the Life Conference and will want to attend it next year. Cheers! :)

The Little Voice

Tuesday, June 5th, 2012

If you haven’t hear this before, go and search for it from Blair Singer. I think my little voice is doing the trick again. I have been pushing off my upgrade for my iMac for a while. Keep on worrying that my designers can’t do the upgrade to be in sync. Until recently, I had a check with them, only to realise they can do the upgrade too and have been very encouraging and not pushing me off for it. It’s all in my head. In fact, the one that I worry most did the upgrade the fastest… This goes to say, what is stopping us is all in our head, not other people,  not the environment but ourselves.
